I decided to change it from a 1 pound weight loss goal on lightly active to .5 pound goal on sedentary. (it gave me almost 300 calories more). Now I'm going to exercise but not count/eat those calories (I usually burn about 300 or so a day). I'm hoping that this keeps me more focused and I don't over eat before I work out "knowing" that I'm going to burn them then end up not going.

This will also push me to work out harder on things like the machines and my DVD's where I can't count calories as well.

I'm hoping this works! Nothing else has (I had lost 11 pounds by Christmas then gained some back and haven't lost any since Jan 1st!)

What have you changed since you've started?

I changed my settings from 2 lbs per week to 1 lb per week about 4 months ago. I havn't changed anything else though. God luck, I hope it breaks the plateau for ya! :flowerforyou:

  • Hi :flowerforyou:
I mixed it up. I hit a plateau for 20 days. So, I ate some more calories by having a couple desserts. My official weigh in is on Saturdays. Today, the scale says I dropped 5 more! Yay! It must've worked.

Now back to our regularly scheduled program....

I changed my weekly weight loss to 1lb a week from 1.5lbs :noway: , I did this for 5 weeks with no loss:grumble:  THEN I read the posts for newbies and others AGAIN yawn: ,did some sums (and realized that I was not even eating my 1200 daily calories after excercise) and have today upped my calories to 1400 per day adding on my excercise calories AND eating them until I am full and/or I have eaten AT LEAST my BMR of 1385 calories per day, lets see if this works as I about to :explode: with :madness
Please hold thumbs, any input will be greatly appreciated :smooched:
