Soup base / chicken bouillon vs msg

I'm looking to change my ingredients around the house. I'm especially working to eliminate as much msg as possible.. I'd like to find a substitute for chicken bouillon. I use to buy Maggi chicken bouillon and I would use it in almost everything (rice, soups, stews, etc). I need a replacement for that.

I'm also looking to replace the canned cream of X soups. I have a recipe but it calls for instant bouillon powder.

Any ideas , tips? Have you found a substitute yourself?
