OK so I wanted to see what other people were doing as craving stoppers, I've started the gum and water trick. So far so good. When I get bored hunger I put some gum in my mouth and chug water. What's everyone else doing?

I chew a lot of gum. Although that only seemed to work for a little while. I have actually found a Natural Fat Burner that curbs my appitite. I really am not craving anything much anymore. I just started them this week. They are made by applied nutrition. I found them at my grocery store for about $6. I really didn't expect to see much change but I am pleasantly suprised. Just a thought. It might help.

It depends. If I'm craving food and I'm hungry I'll have a little bit of what I'm craving, or tell myself I'll have it for dessert depending on what it is. If it's sweets and I wait, usually by the time I get to dessert I don't want them anymore. If I'm just bored I pull out my knitting, come on MFP/FB, play with my daughter, or do something else to occupy my hands. I also have a bottle of water near me at all times!

    Hi

For cravings, I drink organic apple cider with water, green tea, water and gum. The apple cider suppresses hungry I usually drink it before i eat. It's awesome!

If you haven't already, you should eliminate all other liquids in your diet except for water, green tea, or black coffee. Drinking frequently throughout the day, will curb your hunger cravings significantly!

I chew gum, drink tea/coffee, drink sugar-free soda!
If none of these work, I eat a little of what it is that I want, but I portion it out first and DON'T BE TEMPTED to eat more of it!!

But if I'm genuinely hungry (as opposed to just picky for junk food) I will eat, regardless of calorie count!

What is helping me with cravings is planning for them. I have low cal hot cocoa mix that taste great for chocolate cravings. Low far high fiber popcorn mini bags for salt cravings. I know I can't go eat every time I have a craving but having options really help.
