I've been doing my normal workouts and the 30DS on top of hem, lately i've been ravenous, I wake up at 3am and I will just eat whatever i can in a half awake state. My friend suggested I start drinking protien shakes after my work outs, or at least my late night 30DS, any suggestions on the best shakes? I'm 5'5 at 147, and i'd like to be about 124...

i'm not sure shakes after you work out will do much for satiety, personally i find whole foods more filling than shakes.
usually people recommend shakes after workouts to take advantage of the "anabolic window" believing said window only lasts 30-45 min when it really lasts up to 24 hrs0 -
Just had a quick look in your diary and your calories are VERY low, you are netting well under 700 calories a day. I think this is more likely the reason you are waking up ravenous, you need to eat more during the day, particularly with those big burns.
Overall your protein intake could be a lot higher and shakes would help boost that. But I think calories up in general will help more than any macro!0 -

Yeah, I agree, the deficit is probably a little low. How about some Kashi Go Lean cereal with Almond milk? I find that keeps the hunger away for hours when I'm out golfing.0
