What does BUMP mean on the boards?

    People say "bump" to bump the thread up to the top of the page so it doesn't get lost in all the other topics.

    It keeps the topic near the top. Any word could be used. (Within reason of course!)

    It is just a way to save the post in your topics so you can find it easier.

    It's a way to keep a thread going, and keep it at the top of the viewing list. And if you notice when you go to the message boards, under the board that you're in is My Topics. Any time you post to a topic, it's listed in your My Topics, so often times someone will bump a post to 'mark' it in their My Topics so they can come back to it later.
