I'm tired of being asked how far along I am!

Hey all, my name is Rebecca. This is my second day using this site, so far I think it's pretty awesome. I'm 19 years old, 5'7" and 165 lbs at the moment. I had a baby about 8 months ago. During my pregnancy I lost 30 pounds (lots and lots of morning sickness) but at the end of my pregnancy i was at 180. I'm pretty much back to my normal size now that I'm not nursing anymore.. But I still have the "baby belly." I work in a childrens store and after being asked (again) if I'm pregnant, I've finally decided enough is enough and I'm going to take my body back. I'm cutting out all fast food, sodas and all the "quick meals" that are super unhealthy. Going to try out a few core strengthening exercises, but let's be honest I hate working out with a passion. My goal weight is 145.
So I'm looking for people who have been there and done (or are doing) that. Any new moms out there who are still trying to figure out this new post pregnancy body? Or anyone who's just trying to looks 20- 30 extra pounds? Feel free to add me if you're looking for some additional support as well!(:

    Hi Rebecca,

I just recently started working on my post-baby body. My son is 19months and I just stopped breast feeding about 4-5 months ago. Weight loss is a journey and I think I've just accepted that fact like yesterday, LOL! So far you're doing good with your weight loss; just be realistic with you eating habits. Never set yourself up for failure. The belly is tough to lose from what I hear. Core strengthening should be a great help. Good luck to you!
