    For one of our more traditional choices, I'd second the At Last - Etta James mention.

    The serious songs I like At Last-Etta James, Thank You-Led Zeppelin, Marry Me-Amanda Marshall and there is a country band that sings a song called Amazing, and for the life of me I cant think of the band name.

    What I had at my wedding: Sharp Dressed Man-ZZ Top, Its the End of the World as We Know It and Scolding Wife both by Great Big Sea, Another One Bites the Dust-Queen. Not the norm, but it was also a Halloween wedding :)

    We danced our first dance to Let's Stay Together by Al Green. little funkier than the normal wedding song. but perfect for us.
