Accountability and exercise reminders?

Hi, sorry if this has been posted before but I was just looking through my exercise diary after being slack this week... I've got 1 hour of exercise as my daily goal but I never feel reminded by this app.
At the end of the day it just gives you a read out of when you finished your food diary and whether you were under your calorie goal. Nothing about meeting/ exceeding or neglecting your exercise.
Anyone else have an issue with this?

I use RunKeeper in addition to fitness pal. It tweets my walks and if I slack off my twitter buddies get on my case.
Also it graphs total km traveled, activities per month, total calories, and the non free version tracks about everything you can imagine.
I put all my activities in it either through the iPhone app (there is an android one too) or through its website.
Seeing km last week vs km this week is a good little personal competition.0 -
MFP is good for the food side of things...less so for the exercise side. Most people I know who use this site to track their food also use additional sites/apps to get an accurate idea of their exercise.0

I use other methods for exercise accountability. When I was doing a training schedule for a race I printed out a copy of all of the months and hung one by my front door and one at work. As I completed each days workout I crossed off the day in Sharpie. That way I had full visibility of what I needed to do and when I did it. And I definitely didn't want any non-crossed off days! especially since the calendars were in spots visible by my hubby and co-workers. So they'd know if I'd slacked off.
In addition, for pattern tracking as well as accountability, I keep a year on a page calendar on the wall by the front door at home and I just highlight the date of each day I workout in anyway. It really helped me see what days I seemed to be more likely to skip and then the downward effects of skipping a day. Which helped me rectify both of those things.
And just as a final piece, I have an app on my phone that is literally just a calendar that when you tap on the date it puts a check mark on it. Same basic idea as the year on a page calendar, but always with me.0 -
I use an Excel spreadsheet for my monthly "minute" goal. It's sorted by cardio, strength, and flexibility. I copied over a Microsoft Office document that calculated protein, carb & fat percentages.
Low tech - buy an extra calendar and stickers. Place stickers for each day/type of exercise you've completed. Hang it some place where you will frequently see it.0
