Should I just push through?

I'm full of cold and I'm due to start week 2 of ripped in 30. Should I just push through it as it's only 30 mins or is it counterproductive to workout when you are feeling ill?

  • Depends on how ill I suppose. I think everyone knows their limits. I personally like to sweat it out lol

As mentione - it depends on how bad you are, but keep in mind your body's defences are already down - so take it easy. If you feel faint or light headed stop immediately.

It's probably a better idea to get some rest and recover, if it's that bad.

Firstly, hope you feel better soon... and second, I agree - totally depends on you but you may not have the energy to work out. If you completely rest, it'll help to kick that cold sooner. That should also make you feel much stronger in a couple of days... good luck!

Unless I'm dying I workout. LOL
If you can't put your all into it then don't bother. You'll feel bad that you didn't do your best and nobody likes a ****ty workout.
  • As others say - depends on how ill you are.. If it's more heady than breathing issues - push on, but keep hydrated as well..

I just smashed through a cold&cough in 2 days by dosing my self up with Vitamin C and drank loads of water whilst I was training. It was a struggle, but I refused to let a little cold beat me :)

Thanks guys, I'm going to drink lots of water, take some painkillers and Vitamic C and give it a go!
