no leftovers in the house! help me pick supper tonight

tonight we are supposed to have leftovers; only there are no leftover to be had. what is a quick and easy supper that you love (less than 15 minutes to prepare)?

    can of lentil soup in the microwave and throw together a big salad!

    My "go-to" is an omelette: one egg, two egg whites. One whole tomato and one green pepper chopped, and 1/2 onion. One ounce of light cream cheese. I add fresh basil if I have it. Very filling, delicious, and very low-cal and fat. Yum!

    Stir-Fry with Shrimp/Chicken and brown rice.
    Turkey Sandwich's with Frozen Veggies and Soup.
    Baked Tilapia with Salad/Frozen Veggies.
    Chicken Breasts marinated in Light Italian with Salad/Veggies

    I usually try to keep staple proteins in the freezer (Chicken, Shrimp, Tilapia) and I always have Steamers Veggies and salad on hand.

    Pasta with veggies - pasta water takes 5 min, pasta takes 5-7 min, veggies cook in pan while pasta water heats/pasta cooks. Add a slice of bread, toasted, and a glass of milk. If you have fruit, cut some up while waiting for stuff to cook.

    Whole wheat pasta with pre-cooked sausage (it takes 15 minutes to heat in a pan)

    My kids love soup and sandwich night. Each chooses a can of soup they like and I make a half sandwich on whole wheat bread (turkey and cheese)
