Low Fat/Low Sodium Snack Ideas

Hi there! I am a snackaholic. I already eat lots of fruits and veggies for snacks. I am looking for other (non fruit and veggie) ideas of snacks that might be low fat and low sodium. Anyone got any snack ideas?

I love to have some Greek Nonfat Yogurt with a little fruit and Kashi granola. Almonds and light string cheese is another favorite.0

Almonds or other types of nuts are a favorite snack of mine, although they're not low fat. They are a healthy source of fat and will keep you filled up, though. Choose unsalted or very lightly salted to keep to low sodium!0

Air popped popcorn with seasoning
Cereal without milk
Yogurt
No Sugar Added Jello
Low cal/no sugar ice cream treats
100 calorie cookie or cracker packs
Rice cakes
Guacamole or Hummus and Pita Chips

I got this recipe from Jillian Michaels web site. Very Tasty
Spicy & Cheesy Toasted Pumpkin Seeds
1 tablespoon egg whites (one egg)
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
2 teaspoons soy sauce (low sodium)
1/ cup reduced fat parmesan cheese (finely grated)
2 cups raw gulped pumpkin seeds (pepitas)
Preheat oven to 350
whisk egg whites till light and foamy
mix all ingredients except seeds.
pour mixture over seeds coating well
lay seeds out on lined (parchment paper) baking sheet in single layer
bake 15 minutes
let cool and enjoy
serving size 1/2 cup
271 calories
22 grams fat (good fat) plant based not animal
sodium 212 mg
carbs 7 grams
protein 12 grams
