Can someone confirm that it's good? Made it with stevia or splenda?

Would love feedback, I would hate to try this and it turn out bad.

xo

Have never tried it. I'm somewhat suspicious of having chick peas in there! :) But I'm willing to give it a try!

I made this last night—it is so delicious! It looks exactly like cookie dough too, so my fiancé didn’t even realize that it wasn’t the real thing until I told him it was made with Chick Peas! We dipped animal crackers into it! Mmmmm!

    • 1 1/2 cups chickpeas (1 can, drained) (250g)
    • 1/8 tsp plus 1/16 tsp salt
    • tiny bit over 1/8 tsp baking soda
    • 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
    • 1/4 cup nut butter (You can get away with using only 3 T)
    • up to 1/4 cup nondairy milk (Start with 1 T, and add more as needed)*
    • Sweetener (see note below, for amount)*
    • 1/3 cup chocolate chips*
    • 2 to 3 T oats (or flaxmeal) (You can omit, but also omit the milk if you do)*

Add all ingredients (except for chocolate chips) to a blender or food processor, and blend until very smooth. Then mix in the chocolate chips.

    * I only used 1/4c each of brown sugar and semi-sweet chocolate chips, and no oats or milk.

I tried it for a party - it was alright (and no one guessed the ingredients) but it wasn't as huge a hit as I'd hoped and I could tell the difference in taste...

CCK has lots of other (better) recipes to check out though!
