Mucsle is leaner than fat but 1 pound of anything will always be 1 pound! 1 pound of anything does NOT weigh more than 1 pound of anything else! Shocking I know...

Yep, but a cubic inch of muscle does weigh more than a cubic inch of fat.0

That I could agree with :drinker:0 -
Another one of these posts, really? When people say muscle weighs more than fat, they mean that BY VOLUME, muscle is heavier than fat. If you take a piece of muscle and a piece of fat, and they're exactly the same size, the muscle will weigh more. Muscle has a higher MpV (mass per volume) than fat. That's all there is to it.0

Relative Density (Specific Gravity)
Muscle: 1.06kg/L
fat: 0.9kg/L0 -
AND, a dollar is a dollar is a dollar LOL0

exactly. it is implied that it is more dense when people say that. Who actually thinks 1 lb weighs more then 1 lb?0 -
Well, to be exact, it is "Reams of Paper" that are the exception.0

Yea....but..... I want my lbs to fit into a size 7...lol. The same amount of lbs in the loosey goosey stuff could be a size 12.0

True. I just wanted to include those experiencing financial difficulties that may have to buy in a smaller volume.0 -

Thank you! That was pretty much the point.... I've seen a lot of complaining lately that "I did this workout or that workout and only lost 1 lb :-(" Point being the scale doesn't tell the whole story! :flowerforyou:0 -
