This may have already been answered else way and I just can't find it BUT how do you log 30DS? I just started today (L1D1!) and have no idea how I should log this.

Thanks in advance!! (And sorry if this is a repeat!).

I would just use circuit training

    25mins aerobics or circuit training
  • The workout total is about 27 minutes but that includes warm-up and cool-down so I log it is as 25 minutes and I added the calories burned on my own. I googled it and it says you burn between 180-250 calories depending on the person and how intense the workout is for you. So I put it as 180 calories for level 1 and 2 and 200 calories for level 3. I'm sure its not 100% accurate but I don't have a HRM yet so its a guesstimate.

Thanks! I forgot to put my HRM on so I'm guessing at calorie burn.

I use a heart rate monitor and log by creating an exercise. Funny enough, I used to burn about 220 doing the shred, now I burn 180. i guess thats progress. I log it as, Jillians dvd of doom. Can't wait to get the ripped in 30!!!
  • It differs greatly depending on your height and weight and effort. I am 5'7 and weigh about 145 pounds, using my heart rate monitor and switching between 5 lb and 8 lb weights for different moves and def giving my all, I burn about 155 calories for the 24 mins. I don't do the cool down because I run right after!

I got that one also and plan to do it after I finish 30DS.

When I log it, I put it under circuit training and it seems to give the right amount of calories lost for my weight :)
