Workout Efficiency...

okay, so i have been doing around 40-70 minutes of cardio a day recently. do you think it's still effective though since i walk over twice as much as i run? i hope so.. this is how i did it today, for example: this is consecutive by the way, no breaks.
20min @ 4mph
10min@ 6mph
10min @ 4mph
5min @ 6mph
10min@ 4mph
5min @ 6mph
10 min@ 4mph.
do you think this is as effective as running 20 min @ 6mph straight? i feel like i'm cheating in a way since i walked so much in between, but at least it was a brisk walk....i don't know. please leave your input

yep its called interval training and it is actually pretty good for your heart.0
