I'm a freshman in college trying to GAIN weight. I'm five foot eight or nine inches and only weigh about 109 lbs, down from about 127 about a year and a half ago. I really need help with this because I have IBS and Its really hard for me to eat enough just to maintain my current weight. It was a really hot summer so my appetite was way down, but I was still practicing martial arts for a few hours twice a week. As a result my body fat is way down but I haven't lost much muscle. I don't actually know my body fat percentage, but all my pants are too big! I try to eat more, but when I eat just a little too much I feel terrible and it interferes with my studies and I eat less as a result. Any ideas on how a busy college student with limited finances can gain wight healthily. I want to get back at least 10 or 15 lbs.
Sorry for the novel but I want to head off any questions.
