S.B.F. Challenge. . . Feb 8th

Hi ladies. . .I'm returning to humanity. . .feeling much better. I also found after some "drug experimentation" a cold medicine that doesn't knock me out and lowers the production in my mucus factory.

I'm going to try for a walk today, just to get the body moving some. I might also pop in some low-impact dancey DVD if I feel perky later. (hey, it could happen.)

I weighed again this a.m., and I decided to face reality and change my ticker. I was actually down two pounds from the last time I weighed, so maybe a lot of it's water? (hey, it could happen)

Happy Sunday. . .and take care of yourselves.:flowerforyou:

    Good morning!

Yesterday was awesome! We had to go pick up our TV two hours away (they didn't have it in stock at any of the other stores near us and it was SOOO much cheaper to go get it.)

Oh the way my husband surprised me and took me to Red Lobster for lunch (the closest one is an hour away!) for Valentines day (we do it a week early to beat the crowds then do pizza and a movie the night of!)

Anyways...I ate yesterdays calories for lunch alone and today's calories for dinner yesterday so I'm hoping that is a shock to the system and will make the scale move (Hopefully down!) I've got to work on a research paper today but I'm hoping to make it to the gym (I wish studying burned calories, I'd be anorexic at this point  )

So today - eat all my calories with healthy foods (No pudding and cookies!)
    Drink tons of water!
Write an 8 page research paper!

Time for food porn: last night I had: forest mushrooms in a butter/honey sauce with chevre/spinach baklava, saffron risotto with a pastry of vegetables, and a 1 oz chocolate milkshake and hazelnut crunch bar. I can't do the dessert the justice it deserves.

I also worked out for 4 hours yesterday - but I didn't overeat, really, it wasn't a lot of food. Just good and expensive.

Today, easy workout planned. Maybe a walk outside and one on the treadmill. I just looked at the 10-day forecast - the lowest high for the day is 68 - for the next 10 days! As much as I want to get my bike riding in, it seems a little ridiculous for February. I sleep better when it's a little chilly as well.

    Happy workouts!

Managed to walk for 15 minutes before my body said "turn around. . .go home. . .still sick."

So, that's a 30 minute walk, which is in serious "better than nothing" territory. At least I saw the outdoors for a bit.
