I've read so many articles where people are receiving negatives comments from friends, family, or coworkers.
Do NOT let these people make you feel ashamed. Call them out! If someone says that you're going to gain the weight back, here are some appropriate responses:
"Don't you think that is an extremely rude thing to say?"
"I didn't ask for your opinion, so please keep it to yourself next time."
"Maybe you should stop paying so much attention to what I eat, and focus more attention on what you eat."
"Thanks but when it comes to healthy eating, I prefer the advice of healthcare professionals over the advice of a [insert occupation here]."

ditto. ppl tell me "eat a burger." i tell them to eat a salad.
btw, that same guy that used to bug me has now been told by the doctor that he needs to lose 50lbs in order to get an operation done. guess who came to me for help?0 -

While I agree, If I took the advice of my doctor I would still be taking BP meds and probably would the rest of my life.0 -
