Can lose but it comes back

I have this problem where it's REALLY easy for me to lose the weight if I try, but it comes back really easy. Does anyone else have this problem? How do you keep it off without losing more than you want to?

If I stop tracking and being mindful of what I am eating and no longer practice portion control then I almost always gain back. You need to figure out how many extra calories you'll need to maintain your weight. I think you just play around with calories until you notice you are no longer losing. Hugs and good luck!!0

Read this article. It gives a little insight about why we gain the weight back...and its more than just a lack of will power

There was a thread a while back asking if it is harder to maintain than to lose weight. For me, it actually is harder to maintain. When I lose weigh I have a goal to focus on and positive feedback from family , friends and co-workers.
When I maintain the goals a re already met and people get used to my new physical appearance. The praise dries up. The rewards have been reaped. Now I need new goals and rewards!! I've been thinking about this a lot.
When I reach my goal, what then? One person suggested rewards for length of maintenance, like they have chips in 12 step programs. Some set fitness goals like running marathons.
How to break the cycle seems to be as important as reaching a certain weight or fitness level.0 -
