I had planned to have like 3 beers last night because I had only eaten like 400 calories so I allotted for it. Well....................3 turned into oh about 6 or 7 and then a chicken fried steak and egg dinner at IHOP!!!! I am not even going to try to log those calories!! So if I have a gain on the scale tomorrow I will CERTAINLY know why. But at least I don't do this very often. I usually don't even drink. My son is in a band and we went to his show last night and the beer just tasted soooooo good for some reason. A fun time was had by all and the band ROCKED!!!! Hopefully if the video came out good I will post it on YouTube later. But I will not be discouraged when I see the result on the scale because I know exactly what I did wrong!

Ya know, these things just happen sometimes! It's not like you're gonna go back out for another 6 pack tonight (riiiiiight???) :drinker:
Drink lots of water today and get back on the healthy wagon.0 -
I know, when I come home from drinking I feel like I have the metabolism of a teenage boy! My firends and I used to hit Denny's on the way home for 4am breafkast.
One day won't kill you though! Just drink lots of water today, maybe go for a long walk and eat like normal today.
Everybody deserves a splurge once in awhile.0 -
In the last few years I have drank less and less, but sometimes the beer just taste soooooo good and I could easily put away that much. It's not the falling off the wagon that is important, it's knowing where you went wrong and that you don't plan to do it often and will get right back on the wagon tomorrow. Keep it up, you're doing a great job.0

mmmmmmmmmmm beer  I too am guilty of imbibing last night, although have found lately don't have the huge snack attacks that I used to have before I started eating healthy. so was able just to drink the beer and not eat (of course I drank too much beer instead). Maybe I have myself brainwashed enough not to do that anymore, I can hope. :happy:0

I went way overboard too. I went out for dinner with friends. I didn't have any alcohol, but I had way too many taco chips with salsa as an appetizer, then steak fajitas, and then an apple crisp with vanilla ice cream and caramel syrup for dessert. I can't believe I ate so much. I think I ate more calories in one meal than I did for three days. I did stay within my calorie range (or lower, when I didn't eat all of my exercise calories) all week, so I hope there won't be a lot of damage done. Oh well, today's a new day and I begin a new week.0

I got on the scale today and it says I am down a pound, even after all that beer and food but maybe it just hasn't caught up with me yet. Or maybe the dancing helped!!!!
But if I see a gain tomorrow which is my oficial weigh in, I won't be discouraged, just that much more determined for the week!!!
Thanks for all the pep talks guys!! You ROCK!:bigsmile:0 -
6 or more beers always ends up at IHOP, Crystal or Taco Hell! I gave up the beer---makes my will power go to the wayside!! Better luck to you this week!0

Well I only gained .4lbs!!! So no too bad. I was really expecting a big gain so I am happy. I don't plan on doing that again any time soon and I have got to get back in the swing of things so I can lose at least 25 lbs by August for our CRUISE!!!!
