I had a groin area hip problem throughout my pregnancy, it was painful along the bikini line wrapping around the hip and was comparable to symphis pubis dysfunction symptoms. Wasn't diagnosed with it, doctor just said it was normal pregnancy pain (I disagreed but that's a whole other story) I am 3 1/2 months postpartum and am still struggling with pain when doing certain exercises and a have a horrible popping sound (doesn't hurt but it is loud). I also cannot run yet, I have tried but it is painful as well. Any advice? Will this go away or should I see a physical therapist for it?

When I first read where you are having this pain, I thought it could be sciatica. I feel my sciatica pain there and it shoots down to my knee. Then, I read about the popping noise. I would definitely get a second opinion. Good luck to you. I hope you feel better soon! :flowerforyou:0

Sounds like Sacroiliac joint dysfunction. I've had this since my pregnancy. Painful when it flares up, to the point it hurts to step down and put weight on my legs. Just a thought...maybe look it up and see if that's the cause.
Good luck, hope you feel better soon.
