Dropping down in calorie count

Hello all,
When I started MFP, I was at 1450 a day. I can easily manage that and often end up w/about 150 left at the end of the day.
Here's my question: When I hit 10lbs of weight loss, the program asked me if I wanted to drop from 1450 to 1360. At the time I said no. I was just starting out, still struggling, and disliked working out (this latter part is still an issue). Now, that I'm at 20lbs, I'm wondering if this drop is either necessary or a good idea in order to keep from plateauing. Do you think I should drop my calories down now, or wait until MFP prompts me again?
What are your thoughts?

I think you should not worry about dropping calories at all. Wait until you actually hit a plateau and then change things up.0
