Very possibly! What's your definiation of slow? Yesterday I ran 5 miles at about 5.7mph- 10:30 min per mile. I then walked another 15 min. My hrm said I burned 644 cal. My stats are similar. I'm in love:love: w/my new FT40!

It probably is correct! That sounds about the right calories burn, given your weight and age.

I jog/walk 2.5 miles frequently, it takes me about 35-40 minutes and my Polar says I burn about 400 calories every time.

4 mph? Yeah that sounds about right. What's your average HR for the jog?

I do a 3 mile, 12 min mile / 5 mph walk several times a week and my HRM says I burn somewhere between 500-550 calories - plus I weigh about 10 # more than you. So yep, doesn't sound too far off to me.
