Have been doing pretty great all week except for one take away chinese meal during the week have excercised everyday for a hour or over low on sodium drinking soooooo much water and yet today on my usual weigh day i have gained 1kg ,,, I cant find a reason for this normally if i see a unexpected gain that shouldnt be there i can find a reason ,,, water retention , heavy food night before, time of the month, or just a bad week of food and to much salt but this week i cant find a reason i dont feel like im retatining water i have eaten light for the last couple of days not my TOM

im eating most of my excercise calories back possibly thats the problem i hope not though because the idea of having to go hungry after working out so hard really isnt appealing

at the moment im eating 1600 to 1700 cal a day my weight is 106.2 so my rmr is around 2180 and im usually getting around 500 - 600 cals a day from my excercise and thats recorded with HRM so i feel like im eating enough im never hungry and my workouts are burning high amounts of cals and im in a defict everyday

sorry for my ramble im normally the type of person who reads these posts and goes well clearly they havent gained fat if they have been under their cals it must be water or something, but the scale only seems to have gone up this week and i cant figure out why so im starting to worry that some how this is a true gain

any insight or slaps to the back of the head to get me out of this stressed out funk?

Have you been getting enough sleep? Little sleep and stress will mess with what the scale says for me until I get a good nights sleep .

Hmm. The scale isn't always the best way to gauge success (my scale is staying the same, but I'm down a pants size-- go figure!).

It may be a hormonal thing-- women sometimes weigh more at certain times. But someone sent me this article a while ago, and it clarified a bit for me.
