Which scale is best to use? I bought a Digital "Health o Meter" scale at wal-mart and it's saying I weigh 5 pounds more then my dads scale. He uses the regular scales with the little hand that goes back and forth, cant think of what they are called, anyway it kind of depressed me when my scales said I was 5 pounds more then I should be. Which should I go by? What is best. Thanks in advance.

My mom has one of those scales too and it always weighs me five pounds less (which is why I like it!!) I would stick with a digital scale, the one you listed sounds good. Digital is more accurate, sorry.

I use Weight Watchers Brand..cost about 50 bucks its digital
  • Just use one scale! only weigh yourself on one scale. Digital is easier to read.
As for the number don't be depressed, its not the number but how you feel. The scale just lets you know what your weight is doing.

    Keep up the good work!

    Take care

Ha I love mine ......I would trade ya but yours is growing horns.....lol
  • I guess I'll just checkwith my dads b/c I don't want my weight to be off, I know I still lost the weight I'm just not sure how much exactly now. Anyway thanks.
  • I have a health o meter also that I bought at wal-mart. When I weighed on the doctor's scale it said I weighed five pounds more then mine. I just went with the one I have. So each one is different so stay with one scale.

Ugh! That sucks! I don't know what I would do, I think the digital would be more accurate but I'm not sure. Can you go by a dr's office and see what their scale says? I know that sounds kind of extreme but at least you'd have a better guess at which is more accurate. I think I'd rather find out than stick with the old one but maybe thats just me.

Either way though as long as you are feeling good, it dosn't really matter.

I have the "health o meter" and it its really 5lbs off like everyone says it is, i'm going to be sad.
  • I don't know if the Health o meter is off or not, my dads probably is. I'm just going to go there to see how much I've lost in the past week and add up the total then weigh myself with my scales and add the pounds lost to it to see what I was to start with so I can just use mine and adjust my beginning weight and end weight on here, the pounds lost will still be the same, just means I need to lose 5 pounds more then I originally started with. THANKS!

I use my wii fit scale, and it tells me I'm 4 pounds heavier than the one upstairs fully dressed. I use the wii wit to keep track of my shifting weight, the one upstairs because it measures body fat and my moms because it lists me as the lightest over all. Only when I need a mood boost. lol. I generally trust the wii fit because its the one I use most regularily.
