switch from cardio...

I have a friend visiting for 2 weeks from tonight and i know that this means i won't be able to go to the gym and that we will be going out for meals pretty much every day and probably drinking.

i don't want to restrict myself and i also don't want to fall off the wagon so i thought i could switch from my cardio heavy week (running/spinning 6 times/week) to maybe a week of weights? Hopefully i could maybe do some of this at home and it would take less time.... i thought the switch might also be good for the body.

Does anyone have any routines they can suggest that I can do at home/during a max 40 min trip to the gym? I get bored doing weights so haven't done them that much (too difficult! i am a wimp) but thought it would be a good challenge!

Any links/suggestions would be good. I am 5'6", medium build, not too strong. Any weights i do at the minute (lunges, arms curls) are max 5kg.

Really appreciate any suggestions!!!!
