Hiya
According to the Les Mills web site, you burn, on average, 530cals in one hour of Body Pump
Well done, its a great class to do, just finished one myself0 -
Well, if it was like my bootcamp class I would say between 350-450 calories. In my bootcamp class we would warmup with running a mile. Then we would do a resistance circuit followed by a cardio circuit and continue that for the other 50 minutes and I would burn between 600-700 calories doing that. Hope it helps.0

The best way to know for sure is to get a body bug or a heart rate monitor.0

what happened to the other post?0

My experience of body pump classes varies. I think the Les Mills guide is a lot higher than reality. For me I burn anywhere between 250-450 depending on whether I have been doing cardio beforehand. Best way to measure is a heart rate monitor. Seriously the best investment I have ever made!0

Now I actually thought that Les Mills was a bit high.........0
