I am not new, but never posted anything on here before. I am from Nova Scotia. I started this back in Janurary I had lost 7 pounds in 24 days this was really working for me. I had quit when my dad past away in February I had no ambition to do anything. I did keep up with my Taekwondo classes only because I had paid for a year membership. Anyways now that the year is almost over I had gained it all back and felt pretty crappy about it. So I decided to get off my butt and get counting and jogging everyday like I used to and I love it. I have only been doing it for a week now, but lost 2.5 pounds so I am pretty excited about it.
Anyways I like to say Hi to everyone and goodluck and keep up the good work

Hi! and Welcome back!
I've only been here 23 days, but see improvement already, making better choices is easier when you are accountable for every bite that goes in your mouth! I cant remember when I've gone 23 days with no junk food whatsoever Until now!
Add me if you like, I will support you, and if you want to you can do the same, Good to meet you!
Have a Beautiful Day!!0 -
Welcome back! I have to restart it seems every few weeks. It is not hard to lose weight, it is hard to change habits and lifestyle. Just keep moving forward, and when you fall, which you might, just pick yourself up and keep going as soon as possible. Forgive yourself, and go forward, do not let days and then weeks slip by. Friend me if you wish I'll support you, but if not, good luck!!0

Welcome back! :-) There is times in life when weight management is not the most important issue (sorry for your loss!) but when the time is right it becomes again accurate. It is the best thing we can do to ourselves, get our weight where we feel great. Good luck and lot of success to you in this rewarding journey!!! :-)0

normajc74,
My goal is to lose 10 lbs too by the end of the year, but we shall see I don't want to discourage myself if I don't. It's funny because by the end of the day if I want to enjoy a nice glass of wine or a drink of some sort I will look at my calories and if they are not there then I go downstairs and run a few extra calories off so I can enjoy without feeling guilty lol. What a way to motivate yourself right lol! At least I don't mind doing the jogging bit. I also do two nights a week of TaeKwondo and I am sticking with that so far. I am going for my green belt in the new year. Hopefully I will stick with it two of my friend recently just dropped out so I feel a bit alone there because I am really shy to test in front of people. I don't have the confidence in behind myself, scared of screwing up that sort of thing. I am trying to debate renewing my membership with them for another year, but I do enjoy it alot and you burn off 650 calories in a class. Where I am a stay at home mom, plus I help run my husbands business it makes too easy to eat and drink whatever you want and not go anywhere. So that being said getting out and talking with grownups is great and working out being a bonus.0
