I got the S12 sportline HRM from walmart. Does anyone know if this is any good?? I hope I can program it right!!!

All HRM's are basically similar in how they detect your HR. You want to check it by taking your pulse and seeing if that matches what the HRM is telling you. This verifies the watch and transmitter as well as that you put it on correctly.
As far as any software programs go for calorie burning, nothing is 100% accurate, they are all just ballpark figures so any one is about as good as any other, until you become a pro athlete or get serious as an age grouper or IM wannabe.
So, that is a rather long winded way of saying if you like it, and it counts your HR accurately, then it is good:laugh:0
