after setting my food intake to my bmr earlier (1440 calories) I have since thought maybe I should set my calories to what my bmr would be at my ideal weight (1300 calories) is this a good idea or should I keep with my food intake and see if I get a loss at 1440 cals a day?
Thank you in advance for your help!

Your BMR is the basic number of calories your body needs to live without any activity (as if you were in a coma). I would suggest figuring out your TDEE and creating a 500 calorie deficit from that. You want to make sure you're giving your body enough fuel.0

No, you need to eat for where you are now, eating less than the minimum for your current weight will set your body up to store extra energy, not burn it.0
