Anyone not like cottage cheese but was okay with eating it in a casserole? It is one of the only foods I just cannot eat but keep seeing it in different receipes in place of regular cheese and wondering if I would like it.

Ricotta cheese takes like what I imagine clouds in heaven taste like.0 -
I like only one brand of cottage cheese, Breakstone. I like ricotta which is smooth and slightly grainy. Ricotta cheese is what I use in lasagna, some other casseroles. Blended cottage cheese is very good for dips for vegetables.0

I like ricotta.... it's kinda weird to me tho. Tastes like a mild parmesan and is creamy and textured all at once. It's great layered in lasagna! oh great now Im hungry. haha!0

I cannot stand the taste or look of either cottage cheese or ricotta cheese. But I have used cottage cheese in many recipes in place of ricotta and I love it that way. I use it in lasagna and manicotta it really reduces the calorie and fat content of the two dishes and you really do not notice it. I think it adds more of a tangy flavor to the dishes and its a lot cheaper too.0

I find cottage cheese is nice when flavoured, definitely not something to eat on it's own0
