Body/stomach not liking anymore meat or eggs anymore???

I use to love to eat any kind of meat. The past few weeks, my body has no desire for eggs or any meat. Everytime I eat meat or eggs, I take 2 bites and I am done. Then I get a funny feeling in my stomach. I know this is a stupid question to ask. Though has this ever happened to anyone.

if you're use to eating something so much then you can start to dislike it. I haven't eaten subway in months, and ate it today and loved it. um, not unusual I guess0

This happens to me too! Sometimes I even gag - I don't know why though. I figure my body is trying to tell me something but I don't know what. If you are on a diet that is mainly constituted of protein, like I am, I have found adding salsa or pico helps change up the taste enough to get it down.0

sometimes when I eat eggs (which I eat just about every day) I feel like I am going to gag and so I have to stop eating...IDK why either but it is def. strange!!0

I agree with dfaison.....I add salsa to my scrambled eggs to help. I have also been drinking 1% chocolate milk to get that in because I hate white milk. I am avoiding fruit juice unless its diet.....I don't understand why I get nauseated but it hits me anytime of day. I have been drinking a lot of water to help aid in digestion with the added proteins that I am eating. I would also consult a dr. nausea is a sign of type 2 diabetes....I'm borderline. The big reason I started my journey. Have a very blessed day:)0

I thought I was becoming allergic to dairy because every time I ate It i got sick feeling I found out it wasnt the dairy but wheat. Every time I had dairy it was with cereal or on a sandwich or in my oatmeal. Not to say you tummy might not like so much protein at one time. Its a hard job to break down meat. but it might be a hidden culprit like what you spice them with. Maybe cut back a bit or try cooking it a different way see if that shakes you up.0

ashfuse: yes its definitely strange.
dfaison: i am not on a diet that consists of mostly protein. I eat all kinds of foods. So when this started this was odd to me.
memphismyluv: maybe I will have to just stop eating meat and eggs for a month and see what happens.
Thanks everyone~I thought this was crazy. I am glad that this has happened to others as well.0 -
aimhighforoncwe: I have been getting really dizzy about an hour after my workouts lately. So I have been drinking alot more than 8 glasses a day.0

Samiwhereareyou: I actually have been changing up different seasonings to see if that would help. I think I might take a break from meat for a bit. Thanks!0
