Losing momentum

Okay, so since joining MFP back in March I've lost about 60lbs. Overall I've lost 105 since July of 2010 when my son was born. I'm about 15lbs from my goal and like most, the closer I get to goal, the harder and slower losing weight has become, I've been struggling since August and lately, although I'm not eating horribly, I'm not making the best choices and when I'm home, I snack, a lot.
I'm so close to my goal, and I want to be @ goal more than anything, but I feel like I'm getting lazy. The weight's not falling off like it used to so I've gotten in this rut where I know the scales not going to budge so I might as well eat a couple more crackers, cause dammit, they're pretty good.
So I don't know where I was trying to go with this post, I guess it's just kind of a vent, so thanks for reading. And if you have any tips or motivation, I'd love to hear it!

  • I've been having the same issue for months now, I can't get the last few pounds off but because I feel I look "good enough" and I'm "content" I don't have the motivation I did 30lbs ago.
I started doing meal plans, eating meals/snacks every few hours. It's nice to have a pre-planned snack that you only have to force yourself to wait an hour to eat. And because you're eating so often, and of the right stuff, you don't have many cravings. If you make the healthy stuff delicious, the diet doesn't feel like a diet at all and you still get the pleasure of munching :)
