help with my new air popper

how come so many of the kernels jump out of the popper. it has been suggested, that some of the kernels are not heavy enough, but i bought the expensive orville redenbacher brand. do i need to try some of the generic stuff or what????
help please.

I have found that when you use an air popper the brand doesn't matter. What does seem to matter is storing the unpopped popcorn in a jar in the fridge. It makes the popcorn pop bigger and fluffier. Enjoy your popper!
