Yeah totally agree ! Besides who the hell is that perfect they never crack and have a cheat day???!!! I know I'm not! I like to make sure I do an hour cardio the day after to pay penance.
one of my MFP friends calls his excercise before and after a planned cheat day/meal as paying the "fat tax"

I love my spike day! I go over by 1400!! Gasp!!

And yes op the next day I eat normally again.
  • thankyou for all the words of wisdom everyone!!! I agree, I enjoy having cheat days even if I don't exactly plan for them. To the couple of ladies who said i ought to eat more, don't worry I do still tend to eat 1200+ i'm just not a very accurate logger so don't log things like olive oil to cook in etc which add up!

I always just go back to normal and move on. The important thing is that you are not quitting all together.

The rare times I've "cheated", I go back to normal. I don't try and restrict myself at all. I seriously need to let my hair down more though, cuz I'm in maintenence mode.

Life is too short to NOT have cheat days. And cheat day doesn't always mean 4000 calories. It can mean 2000-2500. Which really isn't that bad.
