I just wanted to share with all of you that I am new very new to watching cal's and so far I am liking it I have only been doing it for a few days but so far so good. I was doing weight watchers before a lost 23lbs but I got fell off track and now a lot of people in my family are doing this program so I figure why not a least we cal all support each other.

My big goal is for November 13 2009 my wedding day :blushing: all I really want is in the 100's and to not be a plus size anymore LOL don't know what number I will have to be not to be a plus size but it will be nice. Even though I did get my dress already I will pay to have it take in that’s my hope LOL.

Any way I just wanted to share and say so far so good.

Welcome! I started my weightloss journey about 10 months before my wedding too. I got married Sept 2008. And my words of advice are to choose a realistic goal and not to stress over a few lbs one way or another. After all, you are planning your wedding and have enough to worry about. Plus the last thing you want is to be upset and frustrated on your wedding day. With that said, you can do this. Consider it a lifestyle change and not a diet.

My starting weight was 250lbs. I weighed 185 on my wedding day and was able to buy a size 14 dress. And I never really felt like I was depriving myself.

    Good luck!

Wow that you all for your kind words,

And 250 to 185 that is great and I would be more than hapy with that. I was 251 when I started all of this weight loss stuff and I'm at 240 now so I'm hoping I can do it.

Dont want to take the dress in too much LOL

    Thank you all.
