Hey guys. I weigh myself once a week on Sundays. Last week I weighed 197.9. Today I weigh 199.2. I stayed under my calorie goal all week. I injured my foot last Sunday and was limited to upper body strength training and some core work. Is it possible I could have gained up to 2 pounds of a muscle in a week? I definitel do look a lot muscular in my mirror but I really dont know what happened.
Any ideas? Thanks.

No. The typical male has to bust his @$$ and eat the right nutrients and get adequate rest to gain just two pounds in a month with the optimum biochemistry.
What you are likely seeing is the the water and glycogen retention commonly found in the muscle recovery process typical of "newbie" gains. Your existing muscle tissue is retaining water and as a result has a fuller appearance. Congrats on the a visible response to your efforts.0 -
