I bought some very green bananas yesterday b/c that was all they had. Any suggestions on how to speed up the ripening process?

Brown paper bag, put them in overnight

put a couple of apples in the bowl with them. don't store them in the fridge, just on the counter, in a bowl, with 3-4 apples.

Apples give off a gas that ripens them. Something to know if you don't want your bananas turning black too soon!

the bag thing works too, esp. if you put an apple in there
