It's just a few days a week, usually running/walking 3, and walking only 4 days with 1 rest day a week. If you have an iphone or ipod touch you should download the c25k application. It keeps track of what workouts you need to do each day, and lets you play music or run pandora, while a voice in the background tells you when you should be walking, and when you should be running so you are not constantly looking at a stop watch!0

i did it every other day if i could sometimes like now i go step aerobics a couple days in a row then i run a couple days but i never do it three days in a row, but I do other exercise in between so i dont put to much pressure on one joint all the time, yet will still be burning calories. I also add weight training ont he days i jog only about 15 or 20 minutes or weights.0

The program says 3x/week, but I don't see anything wrong with doing it more than that as long as you give yourself a rest somewhere in between. The goal of the program is to gradually increase your strength, speed and stamina, so the 3x/week guideline is there so that you don't overexert yourself or burn out in the process. However, I feel that if you can/want to do more, go for it. My momz and I are starting this program tomorrow, we're super excited! I might just add another day and do it 4x/week, which will hopefully make it easier for me to start week 2 and not have to repeat week 1, which I have a feeling I might have to do lol Good luck and god bless!

The program recommends running for 3 days with a days rest inbetween days. So you could run Monday, Wednesday, and Friday then start week 2 Sunday and so on. I currently only run it Wed. Fri. and Sunday and I do the gym the other days. Good luck it is a great program.0
