What are you exercise goals this week?????

Mine are to do 500 calories worth of exercise 6 days this week with Thursday being my off day. I'm going to do cardio of some kind and weights 3 times this week....well, that is what I am going to attempt that is.

I need some encouragement to do it. Who's with me?????

Other than taking Thursday off, no difference. There is no reason to use a holiday to scrap your workout routine.

I plan on working out, burning at least 800 calories Monday, Tues, Wednsday.
Thursday there is a 90 minute boot camp I am attending
Friday there is a 2 hour spinning class (come and go) that I hope to stay the duration.
And I will take Saturday or Sunday off :)

    I'm with you! :flowerforyou:

I'm gonna be using my exercise bike tonight, as well as some weights and possibly jogging...depending on the weather.

Monday and Tuesday, whatever I'm in the mood for! Probably 30 Day Shred, as well as jogging, again, if the weather is good.

Wednesday I'll most likely take my brother hiking.

Thursday and Friday are rest days.

    Saturday, to be determined.

Our YMCA is open from 7-10 in the morning Thanksgiving so I'll do my regular Thursday bit. I love it because I get to sleep in, exercise and instead of gaining 5 pounds, I only gain three! lol!

Doing my regular running every morning, but will be doing a Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving morning. Gotta hit my goal of running 150 miles this month.

    Ditto
  • I plan on working out every day, running 5 miles in the morning followed up with strength training each day (divided up by muscle groups.) I think it's a mistake to not work out on Thanksgiving. I think that day is the most important one to work out on. If you work out for an hour in the morning your metabolism will be revved up so it'll be better able to handle the amount of food I know we all plan to ingest :)

You know, I think you're right! Since I can't exercise Friday (we'll be going out of town early in the morning and won't be back 'til late that night), I think I'm gonna squeeze in something on Thanksgiving morning. I have the luxury of NOT having to cook, so I'll take advantage!

I'll be at the Gym every day. Our YMCA is also open on Thanksgiving and have a spin class too....
  • I plan on working out as usual everyday except for Monday (I have to work) & am going to aim for 500-600 calories burned each day. I think I might take Saturday or Sunday as a rest day though. Thanksgiving day my Y is closed, so I'm going for a 2.5 mile run at the park, instead!
