Scales

I bought batteries for my digital scales. It has not had batteries for about 6 yrs. I have been weighing on an old scale from a fed store. The old scale is amazingly accurate to my docs scale. The digital scale is weighing my about 5 lbs heavier.
My question is: Should I go ahead and log the digital scale weight (it is what I will use now)? I will not show a loss right now, but that doesn't bother me.
TIA
Tina

I think you have to decide which scale you trust the most and also which one you USE the most - I think that may be your new one. Good luck with your weight loss!0

If your new digital scale is going to be the one you use all the time use that weight even if it's a little higher. Either way don't worry about it because the numbers are going to be going down.0

as far as logging -use the same scale each time - that way if it is off a bit either way at least you have an accurate idea of loss or gain.
I have a nice digital scale but on my weigh in days I weigh myself 3 times - as the first time it usually is up to a lb off - so I weigh myself 3 times and go with the highest...0 -

Weigh something, maybe a dumbbell on your digital scale to see if it gives you the weight of the dumbbell. If it gives you the exact amount or even .2 more (for example. 8.02lbs) then your scale is accurate.0 -
