I think the Silver plan is for seniors.

I haven't tried it myself, but some other people here have, and most people seem to feel that the food isn't particularly tasty and is quite expensive.

I had a friend who used this system and she lost a lot of weight, but when she stopped buying their meals, she gained it all back because she didn't learn to prepare her own meals and eat sensibly.

I hope it works for you. Good luck!

The food is all the same. My mom was on silver and my dad was on the diabetic one and I was on advanced and we all had the same food. I lost 13 pounds in the first 6 weeks. Then stopped losing at all. At first the food isn't bad, but then it started to bother me. It all kind of tasted the same. Overall, I decided a healthy diet of fresh food was a better way to go. There's something wrong with meat that can be kept in the cupboard.

I lost about 10 pounds a month for the 3 months I was on it. It was just OK. I really hated some of the stuff, like the chili, the "hamburger" and the pizza was a joke. But I stuck with it like a fool. At least I've been able to keep it off with the help of MFP.

Once in a while I get some NS food at Big Lots store if they have what I like. The Chicken/Dumplings and the veggie stew or the pasta and beef. They put beans in the lasagna! Yuck! I had to call them and tell them not to send me anything with black beans in it, they were gross. It was the same food each month. I thought they would switch it up but apparently you have to pay a lot more to get a variety or their frozen stuff. A LOT more.

PS you still have to beef up the meals with extra stuff from the grocery. So you are still spending money on food besides the NS stuff.
