The easiest way to control salt (and everything else) is to make your food yourself. It'd be useful to know if you are able to do this, and if you want recipe suggestions etc... or if you are looking for low sodium take-away/convenience foods.0

Welcome!
I would highly suggest eating lots of fresh steamed veggies and picking up some salt-free seasonings. Mrs. Dash and McCormick make some really tasty salt-free seasonings to spice up an otherwise boring dish.
Some suggestions:
Baked chicken, uncoated filets of fish, or steak with some no-salt seasoning
Side of steamed veggies and black pepper
Homemade soups or stews (be careful with your choice of items in this to avoid salt, especially broth)
Salads with salt-free dressing and lots of fresh fruit and veggies
Sandwiches with homemade lunchmeat0
