Foot pain

I have a pain on the side of my foot. ONLY when I wear flat shoes. Heels? no problem! Running shoes? no problem! Flat sneakers? PAIN! My question is: should I run or should I take some time? I dont want to injure my foot, and would prefer to run. Any advice?

It's hard to give you any advice on this without being able to physically see what causes you pain. Also, I think this question is best suited for a doctor. You can still do other exercises in the meantime though. Try doing some core exercises and pushups or situps. Maybe do some weight training and let your foot rest until you can see a doctor.0
