    I am running a 4 mile race on Thanksgiving. I'll do a longer run with my dogs this weekend and then I run a 5k with the dogs on December 3rd. I love when races allow dogs!

    Up early to put in the turkey for later, breakfast and then off to run off some extra calories at the Turkey Trot 5K in Long Grove, IL 9am Thursday morning.

    Doing a 5K Turkey Trot Thursday morning. Will do my usual 3-4 miles today, tomorrow, Friday, and Sunday.

    Great job everyone for sticking to your fitness plans!

    Quick 1.5 today, 3 mi tomorrow, 5k Turkey Trot Thurs, 2.5-4 mi Saturday. I might squeeze in a Friday run depending on how much I feel like a Macy's Thanksgiving Day float.

    @wbgolden, you are my hero with your post-Thanksgiving half marathon.

    I usually run our local 5k/10k on Thanksgiving Day. But I ran a 1/2 two weeks ago, another 1/2 yesterday. I've been sick for 3 weeks and can't get better. I'm giving my body a break. No way would I go and run the 5k or 10k w/o trying to set a new PR. My body hates me right now, so I'm ending my fall racing season with yesterday's race.
