Eating bmr as net? The way to go?

I am so confused. My bmr is 1550. I multiply this by 1.375 during the weekends for a total of 2131 cals. I eat my bmr of 1550. On weekdays where I am active I multiply it by 1.55which is 2402 and eat 1750. Will this method help me lose my weight? Reason for asking is because I'm generally net at my bmr. And I want to. Do this safely and effectively. Suggestions? This has been my biggest question and I can't seem to get any answers. Please help!!
