So tonight the BF and I were watching our nephew and we took him to Friendly's. I ordered the Turkey Burger with no sauce and no mayo, just veggies [but i did give in to the cheese, its my weakness].I ate only a little more than half. I just read online that the turkey burger as on the menu has 1140 calories and 78 grams of fat! OMG I was shocked.

Any ideas on how man calories/fat it might be without the sauce? I am hoping it is better than 1140.

Wow, that is alot for a Turkey burger! Not getting the mayo probably saved you alot. I was surprised to find while looking at the Quiznos page that adding mayo to their regular subs added 160 cal. Just for mayo!! Makes me glad I don't like mayo. But if you only ate have, and didn't get mayo you are probably fine. Just remember the next time you go that it might not be a healthy an option as it seems!!
  • yeah,i realize that now. But I also wonder if that 1140 calories includes the french fries it comes with which I also did not get. I got a side salad instead. It is just so hard to get nutition info from some of the restaurants.

I would just cut the calories in half and call it even, and try to make up for it in the gym if you can, but I also would not worry about it too much or you become obsessive over calories in/out and that is no way to live, IMHO
I would have thought a turkey burger would be better than that also.
