Went to the movies for the 1st time in a long long time..
So I went to see Breaking Dawn Part 1, and enjoyed it, on the large screen, I have not been to a movie since mid 2010. The smell of the popcorn and other foods was a wee bit difficult, but not too bad considering, I took a protein bar and munched on that around the time for my lunch and did just fine!! Amazing the amount of food folks put away at at 10:30am showing.

great job!!! its SO SMART to take a snack with you, so the popcorn doesn't get too tempting.....sometimes it makes me wonder how people can eat that much buttery popcorn (don't get me wrong its delish)....but after a while it starts to make my stomach HATE ME..:)
Great job and keep it up!!0 -
I didn't think ANYBODY purchased the overpriced food at the theater anymore0

You have more will power than I do...... I cannot resist movie popcorn, so I just add an extra workout on those days....0

Other than it being unhealthy and overpriced... I'm not appealed to it anymore!
Have you tried sneaking in things like frozen grapes (instead of icecream/chocs?!)
Brilliant...0 -
More importantly, how did Edward look with his shirt off?

I'm going to see Twilight tomorrow evening - planning on taking a pre-popped bag of Smart pop and some veggies to munch on0

I applaud anyone able to keep their snacks down while watching Edward snack on... well, you know. :laugh:0

Hairy, pale, and scrawny.
I can't imagine eating anything during that movie.0 -

Well if the last time he took his shirt off is any indication I would say he most likely looked like a sucked up heroin addict, that died from a OD and was dug up 2 months later. Oh sorry a SPARKLEY dead heroin addict :laugh:0 -
I've always found it hard to believe that so many people can't make it through 2 hour films (or less even) without having a snack. Sadly, I include myself in this. Depending on the film, I'll take a flask too.0

You are my dream woman! hahahahahahah It is tradition for me to bring a flask to the movie theater!!!:bigsmile:0 -
Very funny everyone! I sat by two ladies who each ate the large bowel of poporn.. it was a bit much. Lucky for me popcorn while I like the smell sometimes, anoyes me as those little things get into your teeth and such (guess the hull) so that part I hate. But I will think about the forzen grapes next time. And yes I saw the price for water $4.50... amazing, I purchased nothing but the ticket... and waited until I got home for drinks anyway. Honestly I was afraid I'd have to hit the toliets during the flim otherwise.
About Edward...well while he is a nice looking young man (I am not dead yet!), I follow Jacob... if I am gonna gawk at oneone he is more my style... lol (from the lady old enough to be his mother!).
I love vampire movies, and the like ....kid at heart.0
