Forgive me if this has been asked before.....I could not fine the answer.
It does Not make sence to me if I burn 500 calories with exercise and record it that my daily calories jumps from 1200 to 1700. I want to lose weight, not maintain. Am I missing something???? Thanks soooooo much!

Because the way this website works, you are losing weight from your food calorie deficit already. It proposes to eat those exercise calories back for healthy weight loss. Remember, the weight loss comes from eating less, not exercising (with MFP).0

When I get a chance to exercise (3-4 times a week), I always log my exercise calories burned. I rarely EAT all those calories back, I think of it as defeating the purpose. BUT, with that said, I also find myself MORE hungry on days that I work out....

First you want to stay at a set amount of calories no matter if you are working out or not each day when you do workout you have to eat all the calories you burned to meet your daily goal.. Like mine is 1200 calories a day I tend to burn between 500 to 800 calories thru exercise so I eat atleast 600 calories back to meet my net of 1200 daily. This is so your body doesn't go into starvation mode but is still able to burn some fat.0

Because you will still be at net 1200.0

If I don't eat back at least half of my exercise calories, I am super hungry and very tired and worn out. You have to think of food as fuel when you are doing hard workouts.0
