Stronger, Better, Faster.......Feb 10th

Good morning!

I actually made it to the gym but it was so hot that I could barely stand the 20 mins I was there! :mad:

I've got 5 pages written of my 8 page research paper at it's due at 12pm! :noway: I think I have enough information to get there so it shouldn't take me much longer!

Today I'm so busy with the paper, school and babysitting tonight that the gym is just not possible. Hopefully I can squeeze in something between school and babysitting but most likely that will be a nap :yawn:

Oh I can't wait til tomorrow! This paper will be finished and I can focus on ME (and cleaning house :laugh: ) once again.

    just keep thinking positive sometimes time off can make you realize just how much you enjoy or need to feel healthy. Good luck on the paper.

    Hang in there Renae! You're almost done with the paper. I know what you mean about wanting to get thing done so you can get back work working out etc. I need to work out and I know this weight would be coming off faster if I could work out. But I have lots of cleaning and sorting to finish doing!
    My inlaws will be here this afternoon. I have a lot to get done before they get here so they can even have a place to sleep. Alex has tumbling this morning and I have to run by the store to get his meds, so that will take up an hour or so. I have ten days left to get this house organized and in order! Ack! Sounds like plenty of time right? I hope it is.
    Oh and congrats Renae on being an auntie! I wish my married sis would call me one of these days and tell me I'm going to be an aunt! :tongue:
    Okay, so today is:
    clean house enough for in laws at least!
    drink water (which I managed to get in yesterday! :bigsmile: )
    take Alex to class (he's been in a super good mood this morning and he's been sleeping all night again!)
    deep clean
    I guess I am burning calories with cleaning because I am not gaining, so I will keep it up!

    Good morning girls,
    I didn't post this weekend because it was a totally blow out weekend for me and I knew it would just depress me. My girls threw me a Birthday party and you know it's hard trying to get back on track. MM I know what you mean about craving a sweet after having some. But it doesn't make me grouchy it just makes me want more, sigh! Yesterday was still a loss. I just want to wire my mouth shut.
    Today is much better, I took an apple with me to eat as early breakfast before bus and then came home and had oatmeal with a tablespoon of peanut butter and splenda. And a big cup of herbal tea.
    I'm planning on salad for lunch and fish for supper so I will be in my calories for the day hopefully.
    I need to start walking again, because if I go more than 3 days my knees ache. I think it has something to do with the fibromyalgia. But somedays I would rather not move.
    Thanks for letting me vent a little. Renae, congrats on being and aunt, MM I wish I had in-laws as DH's were only with us a couple of years after we married. Vivia, you go girl, bikeram! I hope it doesn't wear you out. Hi to Bug, are you new to our SBF family? Hi to all who haven't posted yet. Ok have to go do some dishes. I hate dishes.

    I have the same thing with sweets, if I have any, I want more. I was looking around last night for something sweet. I know it was because of the desserts I had over the weekend. I won't have any until Saturday.

    I liked yesterday's weights class. I'm noticing how many teachers, like myself, have a hard time reversing right and left (since you are facing the class you have to mirror, so when you say "lift your right hand" you have to lift your left - it's amazing how hard this is - I don't even get it straight normally). The teacher had her back to the class, so I know she couldn't do it. My kickboxing teacher has the class face different directions and she leads with her back to the class as well. Yoga went well. Students kept asking questions, which strikes me as weird, since my teacher who normally teaches the class, has much more experience and knowledge.

    Today - gym. Husband is going out tonight, so I might go to the yoga class tonight as well.

    I'm DONE!!! I have my reference page to format but that's it. Since I got it done early I might be able to clean the house enough during my break to make it to the gym :drinker:

    I also weighed myself again today :blushing: and I'm .2 pounds down from yesterday! I'm planning out my meals today and I feel like I'm eating so much though!! Oooo I'll add in a smoothie today :smooched:

    Three days is the magic fibro number for some reason. I'm fine after one day of no/light activity, OK after two, and a little old lady after three. I had a naturopath tell me once that exercise "moves your lymph" around. All I know is I start to freeze up on the third day. . .so get moving my fibro sister.:wink:

    Bikram went surprisingly well last night. . .it was a very full class (there were about 4 inches between our mats) so I had to focus. I had a few "moments" but I felt so good after I went. Slept well. Still congested, but other than that, feel OK. Today I'm aiming for ten dollars worth of cardio and weights with my patented cardio/weights double decker sandwich. (OK, it's just circuit training with weights in between 15 minutes on the elliptical. . .but it burns the calories like crazy.) Then, tonight is date night at a Portuguese restaurant. Date night usually equals dessert, so I may go there. But my rule is only date night desserts for a bit.

    That's my daily novel.

    Just got back from the gym. . .now on to a nap. . .lol. I sat in the steam trying to relieve what's left of this stupid cold. All it did was make me feel like a nap.:wink:
